Description of Service

Jottings is a microblogging platform that allows users to:

  • Create and publish short-form content
  • Customize their microblog with their own domain
  • Generate RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds
  • Organize content with tags and on-device search
  • Write with AI assistance tools (coming soon)

User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts unless for business isolation needs

Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Provide accurate contact information for important notices

Content and Conduct

  • You retain ownership of content you create and publish
  • You grant us a license to display, distribute, and store your content

Service Availability

  • We are not liable for service interruptions or downtime
  • Service features may change or be discontinued
  • We use other parties for cloud infrastructure, whose downtime will not be our responsibility

  • Response times may vary based on issue complexity
  • Some features may require technical knowledge to use

Fees and Payment

Current Pricing

  • Basic Jottings accounts are currently provided free of charge
  • Premium features or custom domains may require payment
  • We reserve the right to introduce fees with appropriate notice

Future Changes

  • If we introduce fees, existing users will receive advance notice
  • You may cancel your account if you disagree with new fees
  • Paid services will be clearly disclosed with pricing information

Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We do not guarantee continuous, error-free operation
  • You use the Service at your own risk
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content

Damages

  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months
